Leaders of Today Scholarship Fund

Hoop4Change Foundation Inc. (H4CFI). is proud to announce our “Leaders Of Today Scholarship Fund”. This is the perfect opportunity for us, to give back to the school district we’ve learned, grown and graduated from. Our long term goal is to provide a $1,000 stipend for instructional materials (i.e., books, school supplies, etc.) geared towards hundreds of eligible students first year experience at any accredited college. At H4CFI, we understand the importance of education and know how it is easier to succeed with financial support. The Leaders of Today Scholarship Fund, allows us to create resources for the promising leaders of today’s generation.


We strive to raise $7,500 in funding to divide amongst 15 Senior Students in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. Seniors must provide evidence of voluntary community service hours, completed during their senior year. Eligible seniors must maintain a 3.0 GPA average as well as showing evidence of admittance to an accredited college for their first year.

PURPOSE:

  • The purpose of the Leaders of Today Scholarship Fund is to assist first year college students with funding to help out with educational cost.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • High School Senior Class of 2025 Graduate in Charlotte Mecklenburg School District

  • 40 hours of community service

  • Maintain 3.0 GPA or Higher for Senior Year

APPLICANTS:

  • Must be enrolled full-time at ANY accredited school

AWARD:

  • Awards of $500 will be issued from Hoop4Change Foundation, Inc. during the fall semester of the first academic year.
