Qualifications:
Ages 13+ are capable of becoming a volunteer.
Passionate individuals who are interested in being around a basketball environment!
Reliability, flexibility, punctuality, and a strong work ethic is essential to volunteering
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and offer meaningful supervision
Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in fast-paced environments
Outgoing and dynamic personality with a good sense of humor and is at ease in a racially and socioeconomically diverse community
Volunteer Position Descriptions:
Facilitators - Our facilitators will be monitoring our private-runs. We host 2 runs a week and depending on the location we will need at least 2 facilitators at each run.
Event Volunteers - Event volunteers assist on the event day for set-up, guest assistance and registration or clean up. Volunteers may also choose to be involved in event planning.
Program Coordinators - Program Coordinator position in the nonprofit is to support the Foundation’s mission by developing communication and helping to plan and execute events and educational programs.
Fundraising and Development Coordinators - The Fundraising and Development Coordinators actively participates in making strategic decisions with the nonprofit, supporting the Foundation’s mission through fundraising and development activities. The Fundraising and Development Coordinator helps design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances.
Communication Coordinators - The Communication Coordinator works with the for the nonprofit, supporting the Foundation’s mission by assisting with branding and public relations
